Team Penning is addictive and nowhere else is as addictive as in San Diego’s own San Diego Team Penning Association in Lakeside California. Here is where you will see cowboys, bankers and dentist all compete in 60 seconds or less.

S.D.C.T.P.A. runs several two day competitions throughout the summer. Saturday is dedicate to the Team Penning competition and on Sunday is the Ranch Sorting competition. These two day competitions are the largest south of L.A.

The team penning runs on three divisions:
#15 ($55.00 per team member)
#10 ($45.00 per team member)
#6 ($35.00 per team member)

The team sorting runs in three divisions:
Open ($40.00 per team member)
#7 ($35.00 per team member)
#4 ($30.00 per team member)

Cliff Crist Arena is located in Lakeside California

Signups 8 AM with competition starting 9 AM

Competition Dress code:

All contestants must wear riding boots and a button or snap, long or short sleeved shirt or jacket, with a collar (no t-shirts, tanks or tube tops).

Women may wear sleeveless blouses that button or snap, with a collar.

Hat or headgear is optional.

Infraction of the dress code will result in a ten dollar ($10.00) fine. The fine is to be paid to the association and must be paid before the individual will be allowed to compete in further go-
